They suspended my account for NO REASON and they don’t even CARE! They logged me off and deleted my account with 100+ reviews. And let’s not forget that you HAVE to pay the app taxes when someone buys something from you...HORRIBLE

They logged me out off my account for absolutely NO REASON at all. I believe it was not suspended or anything like that. Still, I can’t reset my password. I can’t log in in my account cause it keeps showing this error message. Completely nonsense. I tried to contact the support plenty of times to solve my issue, and no sucess. They can’t find a solution for it or even tell me what the heck is going wrong. I can’t even make another account, cause my phone number is connected to the account I can’t acess. I JUST WANT MY ACCOUNT BACK.

I bought item listed as Converse trainers recieved Primark yikes seller changed listing after my purchase very unprofessional seller. But the rest of my sales and purchases have been great. You always get some chancers so check their feedback before you buy

Hold payments and deduct fees from bank account in the meantime

Depop charge seller hidden fee without any explanation. They are several times I saw the money I should receive is much less than it should be.
I sent emails to customer service and they don't read your request at all, just copied pasted the standard Q&A page answer to me.
1. The item price I sold is £19.24, but the Depop fee is £2.28. The Depop fee they state was 10%, I don't know how is number calculated but it is not 10% clearly.
2. The item price plus shipping is19.24+2.99= 22.23, other the fee was 0.94+0.36+2.28. I should receive 19.24+2.99-0.94-0.36-2.28=18.65, but how come Depop only gave me 12.52? Anyone knows math knows this is not correct.

They suspend your account for no reason and on top of that they don’t allow you to make another account from the same device even though you might use another email and phone number- what for??? I just wanna use the app and they don’t even allow me now. When you try and email them for your account back they don’t even care and keep telling that you “broke the rules” when you didn’t. They logged me off and deleted my account with 100 reviews, they can pi$$ off
Also found many scammers on this app, along with people that make you pay on other apps just to steal your money. I do not recommend 😋
Ah and let’s not forget that you HAVE to pay the app taxes when someone buys something from you, and you don’t even get your money automatically into your account- YOU HAVE TO WAIT UP TO 3 weeks just to get your money from ONE order, basically meaning that you have to pay for delivery from your own money and not from your sales, not convenient… your losing money more than gaining money

Absolute pos company for both sellers and buyers. Had a seller scam and block me and Depop sided with them (even though I had all the receipts) and even removed my negative feedback even though Paypal ended up siding with me. Then got my account removed because of some bull infringement when listing perfumes. I suspect lowballers reported the items because I ignored them.

PLEASE AVOID SCAMMERS . There are buyers posing as scammers, I lost £107 to these scammers. As soon as you list an item, they buy it and ask for card details through the depot message service. The scammers send you links to pay you the money but they end up taking money from your account. Depop should be monitoring this as it's being used on their app. Pls avoid at all costs. Use Vinted, it's a straightforward app.

Appalling how much is charged just for making a sale. A £15 “Depop fee” plus £5 transaction fee? Absolute rip off from these money grabbing ********

The worst company. They decide to delete my account for no reason whatsoever, claiming to call the authorities and threaten me when I have done nothing wrong. I was a seller for years and all my sales and reviews were just suddenly taken from me. They are no help and their customer service is shocking.

Terrible service. Watch out they take money from your bank account. Too long to explain everything but briefly, I sent a tracked package to the USA it took over a week to get there, unsurprisingly, so they took money out of my account and refunded the buyer. So the buyer has a free item worth £90 and I am out of pocket. Near impossible to get in touch with these people.

The site is really buggy. I bought a sample item from a seller with a great reputation and legit store front. I couldn't figure out why my order never shipped. Depop hid that the seller had messaged me with a concern (sending no notification), and then hid my response from the seller. I had to reach out to the seller on their business website. Once that was sorted out, they shipped my order immediately. If the seller didn't have a business website, I'm not sure what would have happened.

Takes 10 working days to receive payment, the Depop app moves the date every day. Rogue buyers constantly sending requests to share personal detail to scam sellers. Save your time and use Vinted or eBay. I’ve delisted all my Depop items now.

I wanted to sell an item. My money from my account had gotten stolen!!! they hadn’t gotten back to me and had to cancel my card due to it. the worst would definitely NOT recommend.

Can't be trusted as a platform to buy from.
Happy to take the money. And then give a seller excessive time to send the item. Which in this case has still never arrived.
